The Founder
Nadia Clearstone
Nadia spent twelve years as a licensed architect before founding Clearstone in 2015. The decision came after a six-week journey through Norway, Denmark, and Finland — a trip that changed everything she thought she knew about what a home should feel like.
"In Scandinavia," she says, "the buildings don't try to impress you. They simply make you feel at home in the world. That's what I came back wanting to build."
Where her architectural practice had been about design documents and client approvals, Clearstone gave her the ability to see ideas through from first sketch to final stone — with full accountability for every decision made along the way.
Philosophy
"We believe buildings should feel inevitable — as if they could only ever have existed exactly as they are."
This isn't about following trends or meeting briefs. It's about achieving a kind of rightness — an alignment between a person, their life, and the space they inhabit — that reveals itself slowly, over years.

Columbia University graduate with deep expertise in passive house design and biophilic architecture. Eli leads all design from concept through construction documentation.
Camille Rousseau
Interior Design Director
Paris-trained and Portland-rooted, Camille brings an editorial eye to every interior — sourcing materials from independent artisans across Europe, Japan, and the Pacific Northwest.
Owen Bradley
Site Operations Director
Twenty years on luxury construction sites from Malibu to Marin. Owen ensures that every detail designed is a detail delivered — on budget, on schedule, to uncompromising standard.
