Project Overview
Ridgeline Cabin is Clearstone's most material-driven project. The brief was simple: build something that could only have been built from what was already here.
Every piece of structural timber was salvaged from a barn demolished on the same property. Local stone from a nearby quarry forms the plinth and fireplace. The metal roof and cladding is galvanized steel that will weather to a matte grey matching the basalt it sits on.
The cabin — 1,800 square feet — proves that constraint is not limitation. It is direction.
